Shirt Orders Have Ended

Sorry, but shirt orders have ended. There are no exceptions to this rule because anytime after now and the shirts will not be ready in time for the crawl.

If you did not pay via PayPal or using your credit/debit card then you didn’t fully place your order and it was cancelled.

For all of you who did place there order: We have already started printing out many of the shirts. Shirts will be available for pick up Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. You will be contacted via e-mail or phone (whatever you picked) when your shirts are ready for pick up.

5 Easy Steps To Get A Pub Crawl Team Together

Step 1: Ask your friends to be on your team. If they’re normal they’ll say, “HELLS YES!” and then you just ask them what size shirt they need and collect $10.50 from them. If they say, “Well, I don’t know” screw them they can order their own shirt later if they want.

Step 2: Figure out what shirt color and ink color combination you want. Do you want to go classy with a navy blue shirt and white ink or do you want to go obnoxious with a pink shirt and yellow ink? There are 16 shirt colors with 4 ink colors to combine, so this is probably the most difficult step.

Step 3: Order your team shirts HERE or by clicking ORDER SHIRTS under the TEAM SHIRTS section. (A how to video on shirt ordering is HERE)

Step 4: Pick up your shirts the week of the crawl and print out the scavenger hunt sheet off this site.

Step 5: Set up a meeting place for your team on October 9th and start the crawl at 5:00pm.

DONE!

Pub Crawl Responds

Having fun

There has been some negative press about the recent Spring Pub Crawl, and we would just like to address a couple things mentioned in the local media.
  • 28 citations were issued during the crawl. These were “quality of life” citations, i.e. open intoxicants, urinating in public, or disorderly conduct. One person can receive multiple citations so this doesn’t mean that 28 people were cited. Even if all 28 citations were given out individually that means that only 1% of those participating committed minor offenses. Can the same be said about other large events in Oshkosh like Country U.S.A. or Waterfest?
  • The 28 citations were nearly six times the number of citations given out on a normal Saturday night. This is misleading because a normal Saturday night doesn’t consist of 12 officers on foot patrolling Main Street. This doesn’t prove that more crimes are committed during a pub crawl. It only shows that the number of police officers and the number of citations given out are directly correlated. Obviously a higher police presence will result in more citations.
  • One Sheboygan man was seriously injured after he picked a fight with another individual. Every weekend there are fights related to alcohol, and this weekend was no exception. This fight has less to do with the pub crawl than it does with one individual’s anger.
  • OshkoshPubCrawl.com does not endorse binge drinking. No photo or activity listed on the site depicts binge drinking. The photo scavenger hunt is made up of 20 activities with only two of those being drinking related.

We feel it’s a shame that the local media has to portray this event in a negative light because they think a less dramatic angle will result in a lower readership. We would like to say thank you to all the 2010 Oshkosh Spring Pub Crawl participants. We think the event went very well and much needed revenue was brought to the downtown area. This event isn’t about drinking. It’s about having fun with your friends and developing a sense of community. We are really looking forward to the 2010 Oshkosh Fall Pub Crawl in October.
