Today is the day. Were you visited by the Pub Crawl Fairy last night? If so you need to get yourself checked up, because she’s a skank.
The 2010 Oshkosh Spring Pub Crawl starts today at 5:00 p.m. Don’t forget your scavenger hunt sheet and drinking shoes. The very last of the shirts can be picked up at 3:30pm.

Friday Shirt Pick-up
April 9th, 2010
All the shirts will be ready for pick-up at Peabody’s Ale House between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m on Friday. You will receive an e-mail and/or phone call when they are ready for pick-up. If you are not contacted by 7:00 p.m. please come to Peabody’s to check on your order.
Thursday Shirt Pick-Up

If you’ve been contacted to pick-up your order you can do so at Peabody’s Ale House anytime between 11:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. If you are not contacted on Thursday then your shirts will be ready for pick-up on Friday. Friday pick-up times will be posted later.
Photo Scavenger Hunt

Message from the Oshkosh Police Department
Oshkosh Police Officers will monitor the pub crawl. Officers will take a proactive approach in enforcing pedestrian violations (i.e. – running into traffic) along with other quality of life ordinances, such as disorderly conduct, urinating in public, open intoxicants, and littering. Officers will also be cognizant of the ongoing N. Main St. construction, as that may present issues such as theft and trespassing onto a construction site. Officers will also be on the lookout for underage drinkers and a zero tolerance policy will be enforced for underage persons and for the taverns that allow underage persons in the taverns. The Oshkosh Police Department encourages any one who observes a violation of the law to call (920) 236-5700 for non-emergencies or 911 for emergencies. Officers will be on foot in the area and can also be approached in person. Stay safe and have fun.

Have fun! This is more than just going from bar to bar having a drink. Get dressed up, bring props, and have some fun. Respect the police! The police are patrolling the streets for your safety. Everyone knows that it only takes a few drunk idiots to ruin the fun for everyone. Stay safe! This isn’t a drinking contest. Make sure you and everyone on your team drinks responsibly. Know your limits and don’t even think about drinking and driving.
No More Shirt Orders

A few procrastinators have asked if they can still order shirts. Sorry, but the shirt order deadline has passed. You can’t place a new order or add to a previous order. Any additions wouldn’t be ready in time for the crawl.
If you placed your order before the deadline and received a confirmation e-mail, then we hope to have your shirts ready for pickup by Wednesday or Thursday.
Wikipub Crawl

As Michael Scott said, “Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject, so you know you are getting the best possible information.” We couldn’t agree more now that the Oshkosh Pub Crawl is on the Pub Crawl page of Wikipedia. CHECK IT OUT
The whole pub crawl article is lacking information, but hopefully we will be able to change that. One interesting fact it does state is that the largest pub crawl has 12,000 participants. This now gives us a number to aim for in the fall.
Last Day to Order UPDATE

Important Dates
The last day to order your pub crawl shirts has been changed to April 5th at 11 a.m. This is due to the overwhelming amount of participants this year. If you ordered after April 5th your shirts would not be ready in time for the crawl so the order form will be closed at this time.
Largest Pub Crawl Ever
April 2nd, 2010
With over 1,500 shirts ordered, the 2010 Oshkosh Spring Pub Crawl is now the largest pub crawl in Oshkosh EVER. The back of the shirts have a place for you to write your team name, a map of Main Street, and boxes to mark off which bars you have visited. Please only visit the bars listed on the back of the shirts because other bars (Roxy Lounge, Distillery Pub, and Oblio’s) have expressed extreme disinterest in taking part of the pub crawl.
We are still expecting more orders, but remember the shirt price has been raised to $15 each. If you want to figure out how much shirts will cost for your team just do $15.75 multiplied by the number of team members. You have until April 5th at 11:oo a.m. to place your order if you want to join in on the fun.
When your order is finished you will receive an e-mail or phone call confirmation. Shirts can can be picked up at Peabody’s Ale House.
UPDATE 4/4/2010: We are closing in on 2,000 shirts ordered.
