I’m a new implant to Chicago from Michigan and your video was forwarded to me by a Chicagoan. I’d found myself saying quite a few of those things even before having seen the video. Now I find it even funnier. And for all of the negative comments on the video, we’re all from some city/state that’s been misrepresented (If one more person asks me anything about 8 Mile…so help me), but if people can identify with even one thing mentioned, it’s worth it. Keep up the good work!

Mike: It’s just Comedy. Not meant in a pure sense to represent the whole mystique of an incredibly diverse city. 2 1/2 minutes (like a pop single) just to give their humorous personal observations. I grew up on Ron Santo and Jack Brickhouse. It’s all relative to a quick laugh. The Hot Dog bit is a classic. The beauty of YouTube is anyone can make and post their own video so I suggest others can do their own. Maybe even grow towards a million hits too. After the Corps lived in OC CA, I’ve chosen to live in Wisconsin since ’89. Love the lakes and boats – see you this summer, Enjoy Life I say, Semper Fi.

The people performing are improv actors from all over the city. All have trained at various places like iO Theater, The Second City, The Playground, Annoyance, and pH Theater. It will be a lot of fun. Just don’t show up to Lincoln Park because it’s in North Center.
